Main Focal Point

With any layout, you may want to think about a theme or focal point that the layout can focus on, be it a grassy wooded area, a pond or stream, and large planter area or even the whole backyard area. Do you want structures, roads, and other activities taking place within the layout. You don’t have to think about exactly where all your vision will go now, but just keep these ideas in the back of your head until later in the project. In my layout I built the water feature and small stream, with the vision of the track crossing over and in front of the waterfall. How was I going to achieve this track plan was merely a thought for now.
