Attaching Ladder Line Sections

 

Attaching the ladder line sections together by placing 6” long lattice between the end sections and adding four cross member 2 ½” long, secure with 1 ¼” deck screws.  Tip is attach the ladder line section on a straight section if possible.

 

Securing Track To The Ladder Line

 

To allow for expansion and contraction, you’ll want to secure the track to allow slight movement of the track.  Hard to say what is to much or not, but I secure the track with the Atlas O track screw 6094 into the cross sections about every 4 to 6 feet or so.  I’d drill hole in the tie if a tie hole does not line up with a cross section. Secure the screw just snug enough secure the track, you don't want the track ties to get disfigured.
