Block Signals

Installing block signals is fairly easy when using the Z-Stuff product # DZ-1050 block signal.  Using track power and installing a shut wire to the insulated track, the block signal will remain red until the train clears the block.  The DZ-1050 offers several wiring options depending on your preference, see installation instructions of your product for more information.  I chose to track power and shut wire from track to activate the block signals. I installed two signals so each signal mirrors the other signal when a train enters the block.  The block signal is a great piece of automation that can be easily installed and brings some realism to your layout.
